On behalf of the City Council and City employees, I want to welcome you to the City of Zebulon's website and encourage you to use this resource to learn about the many opportunities available in our city.

Zebulon, named for explorer and soldier Zebulon Montgomery Pike, is the County seat for Pike County and our downtown square frames the historic and recently renovated 1895 Courthouse. Around our square, you will find many shops, restaurants and services that are eager to serve you when you are in town. Our square boasts the oldest commercial building between Atlanta and Macon, built in 1828. The 1828 Coffee Company and the Montgomery Lodge #31 F&AM call this building home and it is a focal point for the continued efforts to preserve our historic buildings.

The City provides police protection, water and sewer utilities, garbage pickup and other services to our 1,200 residents and numerous businesses. We are strategically located within the Atlanta-Macon Columbus triangle. We are served by US Hwy 19, connecting us to Atlanta and Florida, and SR 18, which connects us to LaGrange and 1-75. We are seeing many small businesses relocate to our community from the Atlanta area. Zebulon is seen as a quieter, but well connected place to do business. Crime is low and our people are friendly and welcoming.

Zebulon is also the home of the Pike County Pirates, with schools serving Pre-K through 12th grade in our city. We are very thankful to serve the schools with utilities and benefit from the presence of these buildings.

The City is in the midst of a major infrastructure project to extend utilities to the new VA Outpatient Clinic on Highway 19 North, which will be in service in 2022. This state of the art facility will allow veterans throughout middle Georgia to get care closer to home and will provide jobs and an economic boost to the city and Pike County.
